Connect the world. Beautiful – nostalgic – timeless. Internet.org’s video about giving all 5 billion people on this planet internet connectivity is set to JFK’s speech from 50 years ago. It reminds us of a universal truth – whether we realize it or not we are all connected. The internet increases exposure to our differences. It engenders increased tolerance of each other. Things once thought foreign that happen only to those we distantly know are suddenly in our inner circle and we are left to ponder our own assumptions and self-expose at times our own unknown judgements against others. I support a more connected people.
