Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.
Even if the best intentions do not always lead to their intended results we must use our hearts, our minds and our own compass to guide us in the world. I know that all creation of something causes destruction of something else. It is impossible to value one without valuing the other but even empowered with that knowledge I still want to believe that I am working to spread good in the world. I have never seen hate generate happiness in others. I believe that even if I don’t succceed 100% of the time, I have a much better chance of contributing to the positive aspects of peoples lives by going forth with what I value as good and spreading positivity. Then I step back and recognize that what I value as good may not be what you value as good. Constants are constant relative only to our perception. Life is a paradox, but within my box I will go forth, be bold and spread what good I can to the world.
Response by James Watters @cloudchloe yes the less cuddly Nietzsche view was, there is no good or evil, there is only a will to be, a will to power.
